The stock symbol representing The DIRECTV Group is "DTV" on NASDAQ. None of our business units are separately traded.

Does The DIRECTV Group or its subsidiaries participate in a direct stock purchase program or a dividend reinvestment program (DRIP)?

The DIRECTV Group does not have a direct purchase or DRIP program. To purchase DTV stock, please contact your broker or use an online investing service.

How do I get cost basis information?

We have cost basis information for 1) when General Motors initially bought Hughes in 1985, 2) at the time of the Raytheon transaction in 1997, 3) upon completion of the GM exchange offer in May 2000 and 4) upon completion of the GM/News Corporation Transaction. Why haven't I received a 1099DIV or other tax forms regarding my The DIRECTV Group investment?

The DIRECTV Group has not issued dividends for the past several years because we are in a growth phase and are reinvesting those returns in the business.
