DIRECTV, Inc., the nation's leading satellite television service provider, is now offering local HD programming to customers in 115 markets following the launch today of HD local channels in Des Moines-Ames, Iowa; El Paso, Texas; Fort Wayne, Ind.; La Crosse-Eau Claire, Wis.; Peoria-Bloomington, Ill.; and Rockford, Ill. With the launch of six new HD markets, DIRECTV now offers access to local HD broadcast channels to more than 87 percent of U.S. TV households. |
